Pink and Gold First Birthday Party Ideas

When I was pregnant many years ago for the first time, I was certain I was going to have a little girl. We didn’t find out the sex as we wanted to be surprised, but I would have bet my small savings account that I was having a girl. I just felt it in my bones. Well it turns out, I couldn’t have been more wrong - we had a beautiful baby boy. Then 18 months later we had another boy! And my fantasies of pretty, frilly pink birthday parties and dressing Barbie dolls again promptly went out the window - lol. But now, as a graphic designer, I get to live vicariously through my customers by designing beautifully feminine party invitations. The pink and gold floral party theme is definitely one of my favorites. Below is a collection of some of my favorite pink and gold birthday party ideas curated from around the web. Amazon has lots of beautiful pink and gold party decorations also. Complete your pink and gold party decor with some of the above items. I’m especially fond of the pink and gold party hat and the water bottle labels. It’s those little special details that will make for an unforgettable event!

Also, just a quick note on printed invitations vs. email or text invitations. It is my very strong belief that sending printed invitations is A MUST for a big milestone birthday event such as a first birthday. If you are taking the time and making the effort to plan matching themed party decor, planning a delicious menu, hosting a larger group, don’t - I repeat- don’t cheapen the event by sending a text or email invitation. Plan a week or two earlier and have your invitations printed and sent out. It will be worth the extra money and time. Your guests will be so impressed, you will have a larger turnout and a momento of the party to last a lifetime - you can’t add a digital invitation to a memory book.

If you are looking for a professional printer for your invitations, I recommend Prints of Love.  My shop has partnered with them to offer fast, high quality, affordable printing with FREE 2-3 day U.S. shipping and FREE envelopes!
