When I was pregnant many years ago for the first time, I was certain I was going to have a little girl. We didn’t find out the sex as we wanted to be surprised, but I would have bet my small savings account that I was having a girl. I just felt it in my bones. Well it turns out, I couldn’t have been more wrong - we had a beautiful baby boy. Then 18 months later we had another boy! And my fantasies of pretty, frilly pink birthday parties and dressing Barbie dolls again promptly went out the window - lol. If you are taking the time and making the effort to plan matching themed party decor, planning a delicious menu, hosting a larger group, don’t - I repeat- don’t cheapen the event by sending a text or email invitation.
